Good restaurants to go to at alabang town center for an anniversary celebration?
Q. Alabang town center, Ayala,Alabang,Muntinlupa City,Philippines
Asked by maria p - Mon Jan 8 10:27:50 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Depends on what type of food you want to eat...i suggest, Italiannis, Fridays, CPK and REd Crab.. (notice that i like those restaurants that offer refilleable drinks...hehehe) but if your celebrating it on a Sunday..have a good lunch at San Mig Bar...that is if your a fan of Eat all u can Mongolian...it looks like a bar/club outside because it really is except on sundays where it can be for the whole family...also the drinks are refillable... On your way home, make sure to bring home hot kettle corn popcorns (sold near the rustans entrance behind bread talk) love the sweet-salty taste of it... or if your into chocolates? go check out this kiosk by the food court, hungrypac is the name i think, its behind the magazine stall, u can buy 3… [cont.]

How long would a drive from the Shangri- La, Makati City to the Fernbrook Gardens in Alabang be.?
Q. I am not familiar with traffic patterns in that area. Shangri- La Ayala Avenue corner Makati Avenue Makati City 1200 Fernbrook Gardens Portofino South, Daang Reyna, Las Pinas, Metro Manila, Philippines The address used was taken straight from the Fernbrook Gardens Website... I assumed that the address was accurate. Thanks
Asked by Unsatisfied Costumer - Wed Oct 14 20:17:31 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The address of fernbrook can not be accurate. First of all, while the Portofino series of villages are near Alabang, they are actually part of Bacoor, Cavite. They are marketed as Alabang villages only because access is via Alabang. Second, it can not be "Las Pinas" either. Third, it is not in "Metro Manila" because Bacoor is not part of Metro Manila. To drive from Shanrila Makati, go all the way to the Filinvest exit (just reopened recently) and drive in the direction of Commerce Avenue, to get to the Alabang Town Center, and the gates of Ayala Alabang. Drive on until you hit the end of Commerce Avenue where you will turn left, traversing the road on the perimeter of Ayala Alabang. Onwards, you will see the Portofino series of villages.… [cont.]

Filipinos, how can a street urchin like me become a senator in the Philippine government?
Q. I'm the most ideal candidate to represent the people of the Philippines: I am poor, down-trodden, infested with parasites, and lucky enough to eat four meals a week (LuckyMe noodles are a god send). I witness the daily suffering of the people, therefore I truly empathize with their plight and thus would make me the ideal champion of their cause. If elected senator, I vow never to be corrupted by the sosyal people. If anything, as senator, I will bring the sosyal people to justice and try them as criminals against humanity. So people in Forbes, Dasma, and Ayala-Alabang, beware! But first things first, can someone lend me a bar of soap, so I can take a bath?

A. No way! You compose your statements with such an educated twang and yet you remain a street urchin? How ironic, stupid amd pathetic!

Are there terminals behind SM Megamall or Ayala Center that can take me to the Almanza vicinity. All possible commuters' routes… [cont.]

A. Take a bus from EDSA-Cubao going to Alabang. From Alabang, take a jeepney going to Zapote, and ask the driver to drop you off at the Manila Doctors Village. It is on the right side when traveling from Alabang to Zapote. of course, you will not even get anywhere near Zapote, that is just the jeepney you will take. Almanza is the first barangay of Las Pinas, coming from Alabang (Muntinlupa). If you find yourself in Talon, you are way past Almanza. If you know Pilar Village, then you are quite near. Pilar Village is in Almanza, too.

Should the Filipinos start their own businesses and stop being an employee or a migrant to save our economy?
Q. Too many of the students wants to study so they could work in Makati / Alabang or other establishments here in the PH... or even some in abroad. Why dont they start their own business... right... so that Poverty could be relieved... by creating more jobs. Thus people have the ability to spend more...leading to increase in our GDP (Gross Domestic Product) / or simply total bought goods here in the country thus saving our economy. Shouldnt these be instilled in the minds of the young ones to save our country and not let only those like Ayala, Henry Sy, Gokongwei... be the top dogs here in the country who earns billions? Them employees are just making your bosses richer... why not do it yourself right? Isn't it because the parents… [cont.]

A. Certain basic business fundamentals seem to elude the average Filipino. Few have the desire, ability, knowledge, or drive to operate a business. What's wrong with wanting to have a good job when you grow up? Nobody gonna loan you money just because you asked for it. Those "lending firms" would be out of business overnight under your plan. "Them employees are just making your bosses richer... why not do it yourself right?" A few simple words but that statement identifies the REAL problem with the Philippine economy and workforce. I rest my case.
