A . Norwegian. government agency wants to begin a debate about the file formats the government should be using for its data.

Is it easy to learn Norwegian? Are there lots of options open to people who want to learn?
Q. I'm thinking about learning Norwegian. I'm not sure why I picked Norwegian but I', looking forward to learning it. What would you recommend as the best way to learn it? This is my first question so I'm not sure how this works sorry.

A. It's not really easy, but it's not really hard either. Some Norwegian words sound or look like English words. Some Norwegian words sound or look like French words. For the most part, it would not look like anything you've learned, unless it's a Scandinavian language or German. That said, you also have to know what you'd be speaking, Bokmal or Nynorsk. Best and greatest option if you could afford it is to move to Norway. Second best is if you have a relative or friend who lives in Norway, you can have a language exchange in Norwegian where the explanations are in English.
