where can i find a taekwondo gym for adults near the airport compound in pasay city?
Q. i want to continue learning taekwondo and even if i stopped for more than 4 years, i still like this sport and want to practice it again. however, i already have a job and i hope there's still an accessible gym from my workplace where i can enroll. nearby gyms within paranaque and pasay are appreciated. thanks.

A. This is the first time I've heard of someone not able to find a TKD gym. wow...pretty much if you walk on every corner of you're city, you're bound to find a TKD school. anyways, if you were able to create a profile, type in you're question, i'm sure you're more than capable of looking for a school on google. its not rocket science.

Where in the world is the Pasay Post Office?
Q. Okay, got a piece of paper today saying I should pick up my parcel at the Pasay Post Office... Now... where is the Pasay Post Office exactly?!? I'll be coming from Makati -- driving there, by the way -- so any directions you could provide would be great. Oh, by the way, is parking hard to come by in that area?!? Thanks, everyone! Thanks, Great Days. But how about landmarks? Sorry. I'm totally clueless past Pasay Road. Thanks, again!

can anybody tell me where i can find gaybars in pasay city area?
Q. i have a friend who is asking me to accompany him in a gaybar for his research work. we look for not expensive ones. any suggestions pls? thanks.
Asked by shortman - Thu Jul 10 08:41:20 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. In Malate, near the Adriatico circle, just up the street on Adriatico street there is a bar called Mister Lady. I am not gay but they dragged me into it to see a show- it was a Tiffany show with transvestites and transsexuals dancing and singing. The funny thing was that among all these transsexuals there was one that looked totally female- the shoulders were small, the pelvis was wide. I congratulated that person on the success in the sex change and inquired what hormones (s)he was taking. It turned out she was a woman to begin with. LOL. I had never seen anything like this before- a woman in the line of gay performers.

A. Just a slight variation to Jef's answer: if you're up to it, you could take a tricycle. There are tricycles with Ateneo gate passes that will bring you inside the Ateneo. You can find them at the "pila" on the street just after rounding the corner of Katipunan and Aurora, but I think you'll have to ask the "barker" (or dispatcher?) which trikes can go inside the Ateneo. The basic fare for a special trip (i.e., only one passenger--you) is PhP 7.50 x 3. Distant destinations within the campus (e.g. the high school, or Loyola House of Studies) cost more. But is it safe? Well, many Atenistas have been doing it all the time. But I've heard of cell phones being snatched by thieves on the street who reach into the tricycle cab while it's… [cont.]

A. From Fairview, you can ride a bus going to mrt station (north edsa) and buy a ticket going to Taft station worth 14 pesos, but i suggest you buy a stored value ticket (100 pesos) as you might catch the rush hour at Taft station after going to Cartimar and believe me, the queue at the security and ticket booth are super long. You may want to ask the security guard for help where to find the jeepney stop going to Cartimar. Be sure to ride a jeepney with Cartimar signage and you may ask the driver to drop you off that place. Q. Please help. Thank you so much. And how can I go back to MRT Taft Station.?:D

A. 1 You can take a bus in EDSA with the sign "Trece Martires" , "Indang" or "Dasmarinas"... This is more convenient... you can find these buses near the MRT station. These buses will pass by SM Bacoor. #2 You can go to Baclaran, (via a jeepney ride), then once you are in Baclaran, you can find jeepneys there with the signs "DBB- Dasma, Imus, SM Bacoor". There are buses too - "Indang, Trece". You can easily find SM Bacoor, it's just along Gen. Aguinaldo Highway. Probably 30-40 minute bus ride from MRT Taft Pasay. It depends on the traffic condition. Take care and have a safe trip.. :) ADD: From SM Bacoor along Aguinaldo highway, you will see buses and jeepneys with the signs "Baclaran", or "Lawton"( will pass by Baclaran). Take a ride. … [cont.]
