How do I run rosetta stone from the Pirate Bay?
Q. I'm using a Mac and I am new to Transmission and Pirate Bay. I want to be able to get Rosetta Stone, But I know there are certain steps I must follow.

A. You have to download the torrent from that site, then use a program that downloads the actual files, utorrent is a good one. You can get utorrent for free, start it, upload the torrent file you got from piratebay, then when it's done enjoy!

Do I need to seed a video file I downloaded from the pirate bay?
Q. I recently downloaded an ISO video file from the pirate bay.Do i need to seed it to be able to burn it onto a CD?

A. It's good to seed, the community prefers more seeders than leechers, and since you did download that video, you should always seed to give back to the pirating community :) Seeding: you're hosting the file for other people to download (like you are doing) Leeching: when a person downloads the file (like you did) @other poster above me: There's nothing wrong with this, Why should copyrights be more important than Humanrights.

Is it legal to download off of Pirate Bay?
Q. I hear its illegal to download copyright material. This makes sense but what if I copy one of my CDs and give (not sell) the copy to a friend to listen to. Is that breaking a law? What if I loan a CD and my friend copies it for his own use? If I copy a book on a cpoy machine and give it away am I breaking a law? How is Pirate Bay any different? How come the site is not shut down?
Asked by Scott D - Tue Dec 15 11:48:22 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Yes it is illegal in the US and most any country that is a WTO member. You are only allowed to make a personal copy as a backup. You are allowed to lend it, but if your friend copies it, he is breaking the law. Yes, you are breaking the law if you copy a book and give it away. The site is not shut down because it is hosted in a country that does not have the same copyright laws. Pirate Bay does not actually host the files themselves, they just provide a search listing that connects you to other people's computers that are hosting it. People have tried to shut them down repeatedly, but they always come back up.

How to stop seeding on Pirate Bay Torrent?
Q. Hi, I normally use Vuze to download shows etc and I can see where to stop my downloading "seeding" in the library section. I have just recently downloaded a movie from Pirate Bay and was wondering where I can see what is being seeded? or does it just seed from where it downloaded to on my hard drive? Ohh and don't give me grief about deleted a seed as I will usually seed a show for 24-48hrs before I stop it. I'm a fair P2P person! what I meant is that after I have finished the download I want to see what movies that I have a complete download of are currently seeding. I hope this makes sense? A. You're using the wrong program, I would recommend UTorrent, it's a lot better as in with connections and bandwith consumptions. You can easily see what parts are being downloaded at what kB/s and how fast you're uploading when it's done. Basically download Utorrent and use that as your default torrent program and your question will be answered. Use Mininova.org to download your stuff if you don't know websites that host torrents.

Do you support the Pirate Bay as a political movement?
Q. Millions of people have downloaded free music, film, and software, and continue to do so. But how many of you actually support the Pirate Bay and the "anti-copyright" movement? When you download illegally, do you feel what you're doing is morally wrong?

A. Whether it is acceptable or morally wrong, are two completely seperate issues. Meaning many people know it is morally wrong, but they still think it is acceptable to do it .

A. What is downloaded at PirateBay is a torrent. A torrent is a small text file associated with specific content. When the torrent is opened in a bittorrent client, it sets up communications so that transfer of the content associated with it begins. So if you see an album on PirateBay, you download the torrent associated with it and open the torrent in a bittorrent client to begin transfer of the album. Best Free BitTorrent Client

For music limewire,if you have avast, don't worry about Limewire viruses, cuz as soon as it starts to download, or as soon as you open the file, avast detects it and deletes it. Piratebay is good for downloading games like the sims and stuff.
